Memorable Quotes[]

“I suppose…you already know I’m rather violent. I enjoy dueling, a hell of a lot. Spend more time at the Black Dagger and work then I ever do at home. Born and raised here, though my darling mother is from Ireland. Occasionally might bring home a dark object or two, find them fascinating and use work as an excuse for it. And sarcasm is a language you’ll have to learn well while you're stuck with me,” - #19 Skeleton's Lane: The Furniture's Doomed (Kara in a nutshell?)

As it would be a bit hard to keep up a hex happy and scary reputation if she smiled in public. - from "Pictures and Strangers"

“Oh, of course they can't. Sparkling and doesn't talk back, if only half the living would do that I'd probably like them more,”

“I don't need any [pixie] dust to out do your arse. And you might not want to call the witch who can absolutely kick your arse a bitch. Not that I mind, really, considering I never claim to be anything but,” - from "Invasion."

“Exactly, it's better to set aside morals and do what you have to than to sit around waiting for someone else to do it,”- from "No Better Time Than a Crisp Day."

Friends & Relationships[]

Kara greatly lacks much of a social life, with there being only two people that she would honestly consider friends at the moment, Taryn and Derrick Halliwell. She considers her 'husband' merely tolerable, slightly annoying and if she wasn't scared out of her wits about the idea of Azkaban, she'd have just taken the term there instead of marrying him. They also already have quite the dysfunctional relationship, as both have agreed to continue doing whatever they wish with whoever they wish. She'd consider Mackenzie Hartell an acquaintance of sorts, and anyone she works with or meets on occasion would likely be thrown into that category as well, tolerated for the amount of time that she has to interact with them. All in all, the lady doesn't have all that many people she trusts, and prefers dueling over socialization.
