Department Overview[]
The Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures consists of four divisions: The Beast Handling Division, the Dragon Handling Division, the Spirit Handling Division, and the Being Division. Previously there were only the three, but Dragon Handling was added as a special division unto itself as a result of the increasingly strange dragon behavior observed over the past century.
Additional offices within this departmen include the Goblin Liason Office, the Centaur Liason Office, the Pest Advisory Board, and the Office of Misinformation, which only is mobilized and utilized during the worse Muggle-Magical creatures interactions in history, such as when the Loch Ness monster was nearly discovered. Right now though the Goblin Liason Office, the Centaur Liason Office, the Pest Advisory Board, and the Office of Misinformation all stand vacant, due to the lack of manpower to supply employees to those areas in this time of dwindling wizarding numbers.

Beast & Spirit Handling Trainees - 500 Galleons per month
Beast Handler - 800 Galleons per month
Head of the Beast Handling Division - 1000 Galeons per month
Spirit Handler - 700 Galleons per month
Head of the Spirit Handling Division - 900 Galleons per month
Dragon Handling Trainee - 800 Galleons per month
Dragon Handler - 1000 Galleons per month
Head of the Dragon Handling Division - 1200 Galleons per month
- Spirit Handlers have the lowest pay in this division as a result of spirits being the least likely to kill a person. Beast Handlers have the second highest pay, followed by dragon handlers, on account that dragon handlers must have served as a beast handler first, before speciailizing in the more dangerous and large fire breathing magical creature direction.
